Aims & Purpose
The Aims and Purpose of the Trust (as registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales July 2014) are to benefit the parishioners of Harpole, Northamptonshire, to relieve those in needy circumstances by reason of financial hardship or health, social or economic circumstances and to advance education and improve educational facilities especially for children and young people.
Meet our Trustees
Sarah Eason
Sarah has lived in Harpole all of her life, she attended Harpole Primary School, was a member of the Parish Council and an Officer of Harpole Boys Brigade.
Sarah experienced the lack of funding for those with ill health, unseen carers and those who are struggling. She wants to see that thee funds we have received can be distributed to help the people in the Parish, both now and for years to come.

Allan Leroy
Allan has lived in Northamptonshire since 1976 and moved to Harpole in 2006 following his retirement from medical practice. He is a churchwarden of All Saints’ Church and has been a Trustee since 2009.
Allan sees the CHCT as a force for good within the Parish and a means of improving the lives and opportunities of those who live in Harpole.

Helen Cordingley
Helen was born in Harpole and has spent most of her life within the village. She is still involved in Girlguides and Rangers, and helps run the Harpole Stitchers group.
Helen was delighted to be asked to join the Harpole Trust, which aims to make a difference to people living within the Parish of Harpole.

Rev. Nic Edwards
Rev. Nic has been the Rector of the churches in Bugbrooke, Harpole, Kislingbury and Rothersthorpe since April 2023.
Nic previously worked in education for a decade.
Free School Foundation Committee
Maxine Jones
Maxine has lived in the village for around 28 years. Her 3 children all went to school in Harpole.
Maxine sat on the Parish Council for several years and was chair for 2 years. Whilst on the parish council, she was the dog warden - always looking for new ways to encourage people to pick up their dog poo!

Rob Lawrence
Rob is a local man who has lived in the village of Harpole for the past 26 years.

Sonja Roberts
Sonja is married to John, with two grown up daughters and has lived in Harpole since 1995.
Sonja has done several voluntary roles since finishing full time work, including being a governor at Campion School and a parish councillor in Harpole. As a trustee of CHCT she hopes to make a difference in short and long term for the people and community of Harpole.

Roger Fountain
Roger Fountain is a retired Chartered Surveyor. He is married with two children and two grandchildren.
Roger has lived in Harpole since 1992.
